Equipment Hire Terms and Conditions
Equipment Hire (excluding breast pumps and bouncy castle) Terms and Conditions
The equipment provided to the hirer by Multiples Auckland North (hereafter referred to as MAN) is to be hired for private and personal use only. Commercial use is not permitted.
The hirer must be a current MAN member.
The equipment will at all times remain the property of MAN.
The hire period is as set out in discussions with the MAN Equipment Coordinator. The hirer must collect the equipment from, and return to the MAN Equipment Coordinator at the agreed times. Hire commences when the hirer collects the equipment.
You will be issued with a payment request upon return of the equipment. Please ensure payment is made into the MAN club bank account no later than two weeks after receiving the payment request.
Hire is generally for one month at a time and/or specified dates. If at the end of your month there are no other people wanting the item, you are welcome to continue to hire. If there are others waiting you will be notified and required to return the item within 3 days of the end of your hire month.
If the equipment is returned dirty or soiled, the hirer may incur a cleaning fee.
The hirer must notify MAN immediately if the equipment (or any part of it) is lost or damaged (other than reasonable wear and tear). The hirer will indemnify and reimburse MAN for any loss or damage to the equipment.
The hirer will:
Ensure that children using the equipment are properly supervised at all times by their parents or caregiver;
Take good care of the equipment and
Comply with the use instructions listed below and all other written instructions and safety warnings provided on or with the equipment
If the hirer is in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions MAN may terminate the hire and/or repossess the equipment without prior notice to the hirer.
MAN is not GST registered and therefore the hire fee does not include GST.
MAN reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time due to unforeseen circumstances (for example if the equipment is unavailable due to damage from a previous hire). However reasonable endeavors will be made to meet all booking requests.
MAN may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time by publishing the amended Terms & Conditions on its website.
Bouncy Castle Hire Terms and Conditions
The MAN bouncy castle together with all associated equipment and resources provided to the hirer by MAN (the Castle) is to be hired for private and personal use only. Commercial use is not permitted.
The hirer must be a current MAN member (unless otherwise agreed by the MAN Party Hire Coordinator).
The Castle will at all times remain the property of MAN.
The hire period is as set out in discussions with the MAN Equipment Coordinator. The hirer must collect the equipment from, and return to the MAN Equipment Coordinator at the agreed times. Hire commences when the hirer collects the equipment.
Daily hire is $50 plus a $100 bond. The hire fee and bond must be paid by direct credit to the club’s account no later than 2 weeks prior to the hire date.
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the date hire commences; if the castle is unable to be rebooked the full hire fee less the bond is forfeited.
If the castle is returned dirty or soiled, the hirer may incur a cleaning fee of up to $80 (which MAN may deduct from the bond).
If the castle is not returned by the time agreed with the MAN Equipment Coordinator, the hirer may incur an overdue fee equal to 20% of the daily hire fee in addition to the daily hire fee, for each day the castle is returned late (which MAN may deduct from the bond).
The hirer must notify MAN immediately if the castle (or any part of it) is lost or damaged (other than reasonable wear and tear). The hirer will indemnify and reimburse MAN for any loss or damage to the castle and for any liability to any person, which arises as a direct or indirect result of, or otherwise in connection with, the hire or use of the castle by the hirer.
The hirer will:

Comply with the use instructions listed below and all other written instructions and safety warnings provided on or with the castle.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MAN will not be liable whether in tort (including negligence), contract or otherwise for any loss, damage or injury suffered or incurred in connection with the Castle while the Castle is in the hirer’s possession or control.
If the hirer is in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions MAN may terminate the hire and/or repossess the Castle without prior notice to the hirer.

Use of the MAN bouncy castle
Castle must not be used in the rain or wet weather (shock hazard).
Castle must not be erected on sharp surfaces (such as shingle) due to the risk of causing punctures in the Castle.
The Castle is for use during daylight only, and must not be used at night for safety reasons.
Remove watches, jewelry, sharp/fragile objects and shoes when using the Castle.
No food, drink or chewing gum allowed when using the Castle.
Maximum 4 children at a time. Maximum individual weight 45kgs, total limits 113 kg. Adult supervision is required during play.
Check and comply with all warnings and safety guidelines printed on the side of the Castle.
Wipe the castle clean all over to remove all face paint, food residue etc and ensure it is dry before deflating and storing.
